Recently, a test carried out by Dongchedi uncovered a concerning issue: the brake pedal brackets of three brand-new Zunjie V800 cars all broke during rigorous braking tests, sparking widespread concern. Throughout a series of consecutive emergency braking maneuvers, starting from a speed of 100km/h and coming to a complete halt, the brake pedal brackets gave way on the second to fourth instances of heavy braking. Post-fracture, the cars lost their foot brake capability and had to solely depend on the P-gear for stopping, resulting in braking distances ballooning from 38 meters to a staggering 140 meters. This problem was consistent across all three vehicles tested, fueling external doubts regarding possible design defects.
