The HIMA RX Ultra all-wheel-drive model has etched its name in the annals of automotive history by setting a new benchmark for the fastest lap time among mass-produced Chinese-branded SUVs at the Zhejiang International Circuit. It clocked an officially verified time of 1 minute and 43.210 seconds, securing its place as the fifth-fastest vehicle overall. This remarkable feat places it just a whisker behind million-dollar high-performance SUVs like the Audi RS Q8 and Aston Martin DBX, and a notable 0.174 seconds ahead of the previous record set by the Xiaomi YU7.

When queried about the secret to achieving such an impressive result without boasting the highest horsepower, Guo Rui, the CEO of HIMA Auto, elucidated that while the vehicle might not outpace some high-horsepower contenders on the straights, it compensates by capitalizing on its superior cornering capabilities. This edge is attributed to its well-balanced performance, which guarantees stability and precise control. The vehicle's impressive torsional stiffness (a measure of its resistance to twisting forces), exceeding 50,000 N·m/deg, is complemented by a harmoniously designed suspension system and axle load distribution. Additionally, high-performance tires, a robust braking system, dual-chamber air suspension, and dual-valve continuously variable damping shock absorbers further enhance its prowess.

Moreover, the software systems, including Huawei's Turing Platform's integrated 6-in-1 control architecture, multi-intent torque vectoring control technology, and BTC electronic simulated limited-slip differential, work in seamless harmony to deliver unparalleled handling performance. The HIMA RX is positioned as a mid-to-large pure electric coupe SUV, boasting a body length of approximately 5 meters and a wheelbase spanning about 3 meters. It officially hit the market on September 28, with prices ranging from RMB 259,800 to RMB 389,800, offering consumers six distinct configuration options to choose from.
