China Automotive Engineering Research Institute (hereinafter referred to as "China Automotive") has made a public announcement stating that its controlling shareholder, China Certification & Inspection Group (CCIC), has plans to augment its stake in the company's A-shares. This will be executed through centralized bidding transactions on the Shanghai Stock Exchange system, within a six-month timeframe starting from the announcement date. The proposed increase in stake is estimated to be between 60 million RMB and 120 million RMB. Before this planned stake augmentation, CCIC already possessed 535 million shares of China Automotive, accounting for 53.33% of the total share capital. It's noteworthy that no specific price range has been established for this stake increase, and the required funds will be sourced from CCIC's internal financial resources. Additionally, CCIC has pledged not to diminish its shareholding during the stake increase period and will adhere to the statutory time limits regarding shareholding reductions.
