Honda has announced its intention to establish a state-of-the-art hybrid vehicle manufacturing facility in Ohio, USA, committing an investment estimated between 300 to 400 billion yen. The project is now in its concluding phase of preparations. Should an agreement be successfully negotiated with the Ohio state authorities, the plant is slated to commence operations in 2030, aiming for an annual production volume of around 250,000 units.
