Tesla has officially declared that certain variants of the Model 3 and Model Y will be equipped with its proprietary intelligent audio algorithm. To activate this functionality, an Over-the-Air (OTA) software update to version 2026.14.11 or later is necessary. This upgrade is specifically tailored for Model 3 Long Range All-Wheel Drive and Performance editions manufactured from September 2023 onwards, as well as for Model Y Long Range All-Wheel Drive, Model Y L, and Model Y Performance All-Wheel Drive variants produced starting from February 2025. Notably, on the Model Y L's infotainment system, this cutting-edge audio feature will be branded as 'Immersive Sound X', offering drivers an unparalleled auditory experience.
