On September 16, the 24th Asian Network for Quality (ANQ) Congress commenced in Chengdu. Lei Jun, the founder, chairman, and CEO of Xiaomi Group, took center stage as the sole industry representative to deliver a keynote speech. During his address, he provided, for the first time, a comprehensive overview of Xiaomi’s quality management system.
Lei Jun shared that as of August 31, Xiaomi had deployed a total of 2,696 test vehicles, which collectively accumulated over 40 million kilometers in rigorous road tests. These tests spanned a variety of extreme conditions, including frigid cold, scorching heat, and high-altitude environments. Notably, generalized testing efforts persist even after the vehicles are officially launched into the market, ensuring ongoing quality and reliability.
