On September 15, Hong Kong's first publicly accessible megawatt flash charging station officially commenced operations. Co-built by XPENG Group and Halo, this station represents XPENG's first X-Energy megawatt flash charging station globally, marking the debut of its self-developed technology. It is open to electric vehicle owners of all brands. Located between Diamond Hill Station and Kai Tak Station of the MTR, the station features four charging spaces, including one megawatt flash charging space with a peak output of 1000kW. It is equipped with a 400kWh energy storage system and can deliver a maximum output current of 1000A.
