On Friday, U.S. electric vehicle maker Tesla publicly showcased its dedicated autonomous ride-hailing vehicle, the Cybercab, in Tokyo's Aoyama district, marking the model's first appearance in Japan. Tesla has commenced mass production of the Cybercab and launched ride-hailing services in select regions of the United States; however, there are currently no plans to sell the model in Japan.
