On September 8, Goldman Sachs issued a research report indicating that Xiaomi (01810.HK) has officially unveiled its extended-range electric vehicle lineup, featuring the Sky Nomad N70 Pro, N70 Max, and N90 Max models. Notably, the official pricing for the N70 Max and N90 Max has been set RMB 20,000 and RMB 30,000 lower than their respective pre-sale prices. The report emphasized that the Sky Nomad series garnered over 10,000 pre-orders within a mere four minutes, further solidifying Goldman Sachs' positive outlook on Xiaomi's sales performance and gross profit margins.

Goldman Sachs is of the opinion that Xiaomi's streamlined SKU strategy provides ample adaptability to remain competitive in the evolving market landscape. The firm advises investors to closely track the order volume data that Xiaomi is set to announce next month. Additionally, Goldman Sachs maintains its sales projections for Xiaomi's electric vehicles, estimating 80,000 units for 2026 and 350,000 units for 2027, while keeping gross profit margin forecasts for electric vehicles steady at 19% to 20%. The investment bank reaffirms its ‘Buy’ rating on Xiaomi, setting a target price of HKD 39.
