Recently, CATL has officially inked a strategic cooperation pact with Taijin New Energy and Huike New Materials, cementing a long-term collaborative relationship. This partnership will revolve around key areas such as the centralized procurement of copper foil equipment, joint capacity expansion, cost and pricing strategies, collaborative research and development, and the shared utilization of green electricity. As per the agreement, CATL will collaborate with these two partners to establish a new production capacity of 400,000 tons of copper foil within the next three years, thereby addressing the burgeoning market demand.
