This move is primarily driven by the objectives of cost reduction, improved durability, and alignment with the demanding operational patterns of commercial fleets, as well as the swift turnover demands of Tesla's extensive charging and maintenance hubs. Should Tesla decide to make the Cybercab available to the broader public in the future, the company might explore solutions such as establishing automated fleet service centers and introducing home wireless charging pads to tackle charging challenges. Nonetheless, at present, the Cybercab is unmistakably geared towards commercial use, with no announcements made regarding individual purchases.
