NIO has launched a new addition to its Power Up Scenic Routes—the Southern Shanxi Heritage Loop. This route stretches across 1,849 kilometers, forming a closed loop that links multiple cities. Equipped with 13 strategically placed battery swap stations, the route not only facilitates seamless energy replenishment but also enriches the travel experience by offering a gateway to cultural exploration. The optimal time to embark on this journey is between April and October. To date, NIO has successfully established 91 such scenic routes and aims to expand this network to 100 by the end of this year. On a national scale, NIO has set up 9,322 charging and battery swap stations, with a remarkable milestone of over 120 million battery swaps achieved. Additionally, NIO is set to unveil a battery swap route along the historic Silk Road in September.
