The purpose of this investigation is to ascertain whether the vehicle's safety certification adheres to the federal motor vehicle safety standards certification procedures in the United States. Commenced on the 3rd, the investigation primarily aims to scrutinize the procedures and technical data that Tesla utilized during the safety standards certification process. Tesla has already commenced a limited rollout of this model in Austin, Texas, and has affirmed that the vehicle meets all pertinent federal motor vehicle safety standards. The company also has plans to progressively broaden its deployment.
