In August 2026, GAC Group reported a production volume of 126,727 vehicles, reflecting a 1.18% year-on-year decrease. Simultaneously, it achieved sales of 126,584 vehicles, down by 6.71% compared to the same period last year. From January to August, the cumulative production totaled 1,026,789 vehicles, showing a 2.99% year-on-year decline. In contrast, cumulative sales during this period reached 1,012,603 vehicles, marking a slight 0.21% year-on-year increase. Among its brands, GAC Honda and GAC Toyota witnessed year-on-year decreases in both August and cumulative sales figures. Conversely, GAC Trumpchi, GAC Aion, and GAC Lingcheng's new energy commercial vehicles experienced year-on-year growth. Keenon Intelligent Automobile also unveiled its sales data for August and the cumulative period. In terms of segmented sales, new energy vehicles exhibited significant year-on-year growth in both August and cumulative sales. On the other hand, energy-saving vehicles saw a year-on-year decline in August sales, although their cumulative sales increased. Regarding vehicle categories, passenger cars recorded a slight year-on-year decrease in both August and cumulative sales. Sedans and MPVs both registered year-on-year declines in August and cumulative sales, whereas SUVs achieved year-on-year growth. Furthermore, GAC Group also disclosed sales figures for Hyper Aion BU and GAC Trumpchi.
