Yu Chengdong took to social media to commend the Xiangjie V8 product team, highlighting that this full-size family MPV boasts an ultra-low drag coefficient of 0.226. It seamlessly blends spacious interiors, energy efficiency, and high aesthetics, with its official launch slated for this month. The vehicle is set to make its grand debut at the 2026 Chengdu Auto Show. Departing from the conventional "boxy" MPV design, the Xiangjie V8 features body dimensions of 5335mm × 2005mm × 1805mm (with some variants reaching a height of 1825mm) and a wheelbase of 3250mm. Across all trim levels, it offers a 2+2+3 seven-seat configuration and presents customers with five version options.

In terms of powertrain, the Xiangjie V8 caters to diverse preferences with both pure electric and extended-range variants. The pure electric model delivers a maximum CLTC range of up to 830km, while the extended-range version offers a combined range exceeding 1400km. All versions come equipped as standard with an 800V high-voltage platform, ensuring rapid charging capabilities.

For intelligent driving, the Xiangjie V8 is outfitted with Huawei's cutting-edge ADS 5 intelligent driving system, featuring a four-lidar stereo matrix for enhanced perception and safety. The chassis is built on Huawei's Tuling platform and is highly anticipated to incorporate rear-wheel active steering, further enhancing its maneuverability.

Pricing details are yet to be announced, but industry insiders predict a price range of RMB 300,000-400,000, with the main sales model expected to be priced above RMB 350,000. Upon its market introduction, the Xiangjie V8 is poised to compete head-on with models such as the Li Auto MEGA, XPeng X9, and Tengshi D9, offering consumers a compelling blend of luxury, performance, and innovation.
