On September 3 (local time), Tesla officially unveiled its groundbreaking autonomous electric vehicle, the Cybercab, in Austin, USA. This innovative model, which does away with traditional controls such as a steering wheel, pedals, and rearview mirrors, is engineered to offer a more efficient travel solution. Furthermore, Tesla has confirmed that the Cybercab will be showcased in several major Chinese cities, including Beijing and Shanghai, starting from mid-September, marking its inaugural public appearance in China. This exhibition will focus exclusively on presenting the vehicle's design and technological innovations, without any intentions to launch the model or initiate commercial operations for autonomous ride-hailing services in the Chinese market at this stage.
