As per SAIC Motor's official announcement, in August 2026, the company manufactured 343,000 complete vehicles, experiencing an 8.98% year-on-year decrease. In terms of sales, the figure reached 357,000 units, also showing a 1.75% decline compared to the same period last year. Notably, sales of new energy vehicles surged to 190,800 units in August, representing a significant 47.06% year-on-year increase. For the entire year up to August, the cumulative sales of complete vehicles amounted to 2.741 million units, reflecting a slight 0.45% decrease from the previous year.
