BYD released an official announcement, revealing that in August 2026, its production volume of new energy vehicles soared to 440,700 units, up from 353,100 units during the same period in 2025. The sales volume also witnessed a significant increase, reaching 440,300 units compared to 373,600 units in the corresponding period of 2025. However, looking at the cumulative figures for the year, the production volume amounted to 2,675,100 units, marking a year-on-year decrease of 4.73%. Similarly, the cumulative sales volume stood at 2,668,000 units, experiencing a year-on-year decline of 6.84%. Moreover, in August 2026, BYD successfully exported 189,500 new energy vehicles, showcasing its expanding global footprint.
