On September 1, BYD Semiconductor took the wraps off its latest innovation—a satellite-architecture-based 4D millimeter-wave radar chip, which is powered by the Xuanji A3 computing core. Specifically tailored for satellite architecture applications, this chip boasts a high-speed MIPI CSI-2 interface that is compatible with a variety of mainstream serializers. This compatibility ensures smooth and effortless integration with leading intelligent driving chip platforms. Presently, the chip has successfully undergone joint debugging and adaptation processes alongside the 'Xuanji A3' intelligent driving chip, thereby meeting the rigorous detection performance standards set by Tier1 module manufacturers. Leveraging a tried-and-tested 28nm automotive-grade manufacturing process, this chip is purpose-built for high-resolution radar systems within the automotive sector.
