The electric drive technology adopted by Xiaomi Auto, known as Pengcheng, shares its roots with high-speed rail technology. Leveraging its extensive technological expertise from the high-speed rail sector, CRRC has applied this know-how to the research and development of automotive electric drives, conferring benefits such as enhanced stability, efficiency, and durability. CRRC's electric drives consistently rank among the top three third-party electric drive suppliers in China, and have been supplied to several mainstream automotive companies. Furthermore, the Xiaomi Kunlun technology architecture, unveiled by Lei Jun, forms the technological backbone of Xiaomi's Pengcheng SUVs. CRRC provides the front electric drive assembly for this architecture, bolstering the development of Xiaomi Auto.
