On August 27, XPENG Group unveiled the latest iteration of its second-generation VLA large-scale model. This advanced model has been integrated into its Robotaxi, which has successfully secured the permit for remote testing of intelligent connected vehicles in Guangzhou. With this qualification, the Robotaxi is now authorized to conduct fully unmanned road tests on primary, secondary, and tertiary test roads across Guangzhou. Since commencing internal employee testing in June, XPENG Robotaxi has accumulated over 2,000 internal test orders within a span of just two months.
