On August 26, the Information Office of the State Council hosted a press conference titled "Launching the 15th Five-Year Plan," offering a comprehensive overview of the plan's implementation and the progress made in new industrialization. Xin Guobin, Vice Minister of the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology (MIIT), emphasized the commitment to elevating the quality of new energy vehicle (NEV) offerings. This includes bolstering companies' technological advancements, enhancing the low-temperature adaptability and longevity of power batteries, and fortifying the safety and dependability of autonomous driving systems. Concurrently, proactive measures will be taken to drive forward pilot projects concerning the market entry, on-road utilization, and vehicle-road-cloud integration of intelligent connected vehicles, ultimately providing consumers with greener, more intelligent NEV products.
