The recall of over 4.27 million vehicles by nine automakers due to door handle safety issues has sparked widespread concern. Zeng Qinglin, General Manager of the Yijing automotive brand, emphasized that recalls are indicative of a mature market and play a crucial role in safeguarding user safety. He noted that, in their quest for sleek aesthetics, automakers often opt for concealed emergency handles, inadvertently introducing safety hazards. The Yijing X9, in contrast, places paramount importance on safety in its door handle design, incorporating a protective structure to guarantee smooth door operation even in extreme conditions. Zeng stressed that such safety considerations should be the bedrock of automobile manufacturing.
