On August 20, news emerged that an investor had raised questions about Azure Lithium Chip on an interactive platform. The inquiry centered on whether Azure Lithium Chip serves as the exclusive supplier of robot battery cells for Unitree Technology and whether its current production capacity can adequately support Unitree Technology’s expansion plans. Furthermore, given that humanoid robots typically grapple with the challenge of limited lithium battery endurance—often lasting only two to three hours—a significant barrier to their widespread adoption, the investor also sought information on Azure Lithium Chip’s technological advancements in addressing this issue. In response, Azure Lithium Chip clarified that it could not confirm its status as Unitree Technology’s exclusive supplier. However, it assured that business transactions between the two companies were proceeding smoothly and that its products met Unitree Technology’s technical specifications.
