In 2025, it secured the 201st spot globally and ranked fifth among Chinese automotive companies. The group's roots can be traced back to 1958, and since then, it has undergone several pivotal development phases. In the first half of 2026, BAIC Group achieved cumulative vehicle sales of 795,000 units, with notable year-on-year growth in sales for its self-owned brands, new energy vehicles, and exports.
