The inaugural all-electric sedan in GAC Aion's innovative Ray series, known as the "Ray 7," has officially concluded its new vehicle declaration process with the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology (MIIT). Targeting the mid-to-large all-electric coupe market, this vehicle boasts dimensions of 4960×1900×1455mm and a wheelbase of 2920mm. It comes powered by Huawei Digital Energy's cutting-edge 180kW electric drive system, paired with CATL batteries. Notably, it features a roof-mounted LiDAR system, along with standard ABS and EDR safety systems. The Ray 7 stands as a pivotal model in Aion's strategy to penetrate the youth market and cater to the C-end consumer base.
