On August 5, the 16th China Auto Forum, organized by the China Association of Automobile Manufacturers, took place in Jiading, Shanghai. At the forum, the Association formally unveiled the establishment of the "Joint Conference on the Development of the Autonomous Driving Vehicle Industry" and marked the occasion with a launch ceremony. The Association emphasized that the Joint Conference will uphold the principles of "safety as the foundation, innovation as the impetus, and collaboration for progress," striving alongside all industry participants to collectively advance the secure, well-organized, and extensive growth of China's autonomous driving sector. This endeavor aims to bolster the development of an automotive powerhouse and nurture new, high-quality productive forces. The Joint Conference extends a heartfelt invitation to relevant entities throughout the industrial chain, encompassing complete vehicle manufacturers, autonomous driving solution providers, chip and sensor enterprises, software and communication companies, testing and certification agencies, as well as universities and research institutes. The goal is to foster collaborative development, establish a synergistic mechanism, and share industry accomplishments.
