On August 4, GAC Group (02238.HK) released its production figures, revealing that it manufactured 103,284 vehicles in July 2026, marking a significant year-on-year decline of 19.62%. For the year up to July, the cumulative production volume stood at 900,062 vehicles, reflecting a 3.24% decrease compared to the same period last year. In terms of sales, the company moved 112,934 vehicles in July, experiencing a 5.48% drop from the previous year. However, cumulative sales for the year-to-date climbed to 886,019 vehicles, registering a modest 1.28% increase year-on-year.
