On July 30, Xiaomi held a technical launch event for its Pangcheng technology, where Lei Jun, the founder, chairman, and CEO of Xiaomi, provided detailed insights into the power parameters of the Pangcheng series extended-range SUV. With a full tank of fuel and a fully charged battery, the new vehicle achieves a CLTC combined range of up to 1,705 kilometers, allowing it to travel from Beijing to Shanghai—a distance of over 1,200 kilometers—without the need for any Midway energy replenishment (zhongtu buneng) ( Midway energy replenishment : Supplement energy midway /mid-journey refueling/recharging).
