During a press conference organized by the State Council Information Office on July 23, Yang Mu, who serves as the Director of the Department of Consumption Promotion at the Ministry of Commerce, revealed that the retail penetration rate of new energy vehicles in China soared to 62.8% in June. This statistic signifies that more than six out of every ten newly purchased vehicles in the country are now new energy vehicles, reflecting a significant shift in consumer preferences and a growing commitment to sustainable transportation solutions.
