On July 23, Beijing time, Tesla unveiled its financial results for the second quarter of 2026. According to the report, prepared in accordance with U.S. Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP), Tesla’s total revenue for the quarter reached $28.236 billion, marking a 26% increase year-on-year. However, net profit attributable to ordinary shareholders stood at $1.114 billion, reflecting a 5% decline from the same period last year. Earlier, Tesla had announced that its global vehicle deliveries in the second quarter surpassed 480,000 units, representing a roughly 25% year-on-year growth and a 34% quarter-on-quarter surge. Notably, the Shanghai Gigafactory delivered over 89,000 electric vehicles in June alone, a 24.4% increase year-on-year, setting a new annual record. Additionally, Tesla’s financial report will further elaborate on the progress made in several key areas, including artificial intelligence, humanoid robots, electric vehicles, and energy solutions.
