On July 22, Horizon Robotics and Volkswagen Group announced that through the joint venture CARIZON, established by CARIAD and Horizon Robotics, the two parties will deepen their technological collaboration in the field of AI foundational large models. Horizon's AI foundational large model will be closely integrated with CARIZON's in-development C7H system-on-chip and the GAIA world model data platform, facilitating the implementation of Volkswagen Group's L3 and L4 autonomous driving technologies. It is anticipated that Volkswagen Group's L3 autonomous driving technology will be available for delivery as early as the second half of 2027.
