On July 14, 2026, HONGMENG Intelligent Travel carried out the inaugural live-streamed test of the all-electric range for a round trip between Chengdu and Chongqing, utilizing the new-generation AITO M9 Ultra, a five-seater, four-wheel-drive, all-electric model. On that particular day, with temperatures soaring up to 41℃, the air conditioning inside the vehicle was set to a comfortable 24℃. The car accommodated four adults and 50 kilograms of equipment, and completed the entire journey without any recharging. It achieved an impressive actual driving range of 630.6 km, boasting an 88.1% range achievement rate, and consumed only 17.8 kWh of energy per 100 km. This model, which was launched on May 27 with a starting price of RMB 479,800, managed to sell over 10,000 units within just three weeks of its delivery, setting a new record for the fastest delivery milestone in the vehicle segment priced above RMB 500,000.
