On July 14, 2026, Xiaomi Robotics Division showcased its latest advancements in the automotive manufacturing field. The bilateral operation success rate for installing self-tapping nuts at Xiaomi’s automotive factory has soared to 98%, setting the stage for its official rollout. Concurrently, Xiaomi’s robots have also attained a 90% success rate in new workstation tasks, including sorting the side cover plates of the central console and folding and recycling material bins. This achievement effectively tackles the challenges associated with long-duration, flexible operations in industrial settings, striking a harmonious balance between full-body motion control and large-scale, stable operations.

Through the implementation of active compliant control strategies, Xiaomi’s robots have bolstered their resilience in environmental interactions, allowing multiple robot units to achieve state synchronization and rhythm coordination. Furthermore, Xiaomi’s robots have been seamlessly integrated into the factory’s automation and digitalization systems, facilitating paperless production task reading and multi-robot collaboration. Although there remains room for improvement in skills such as blindly grasping pull rings, Xiaomi’s robots’ transition from single-workstation to multi-workstation collaboration underscores the feasibility of embodied intelligence in complex industrial environments, thereby broadening the horizons of AI interactions with the physical world.
