On July 11, FAW China made an announcement stating that the project titled "Systematic Technical Research on Gasoline Engines Specifically Designed for Hybrid Vehicles to Comply with National VII Emission Standards" had successfully passed the project acceptance phase. Furthermore, it had accomplished the preparation of an integrated technical solution for National VII compliance a full three years ahead of the original schedule. This significant accomplishment offers a self-developed technical framework that bolsters Hongqi brand models in adhering to the most stringent future emissions regulations. It encompasses key technologies in areas such as combustion processes, electronic control systems, and post-treatment mechanisms. Moving forward, this technology will be integrated into the hybrid and energy-efficient models under the Hongqi brand.
