At the China launch event for the XPENG MONA L03, XPENG Group's Chairman and CEO, He Xiaopeng, delivered an insightful speech. Spearheaded by the esteemed former Ferrari designer, Juanma, the XPENG MONA L03 was crafted in collaboration with a global design team hailing from 23 different countries. This vehicle stands out with an incredibly low drag coefficient of Cd 0.228, placing it among the top five globally for mass-produced new energy SUVs.
In terms of aesthetics, the XPENG MONA L03 offers a palette of six exterior colors: Aurora Purple, Crescent Silver, Midnight Black, Star Dusk Purple, Dark Plum Sauce, and Eucalyptus Gray. Inside, customers can choose between two interior color schemes: Deep Space Gray and Vast Gray. The Max version is powered by a single Turing AI chip, delivering 750TOPS of effective computing power, and comes with the second-generation VLA distilled version (set to roll out starting in the third quarter of this year). The Ultra SE version, on the other hand, is equipped with two Turing AI chips, providing computing power of up to 1500TOPS and supporting the second-generation full-spec VLA.
As the inaugural model in the MONA series to offer both pure electric and range-extended versions, the pure electric variant provides a range of 525km and 625km, with CLTC pure electric power consumption as low as 11.9kWh/100km. It accelerates from zero to 100km/h in just 6.6 seconds and adopts 3C charging technology, enabling the battery to be charged from 10% to 80% in a mere 19.1 minutes. The super range-extended version offers a maximum CLTC combined range of up to 1330km, with a pure electric range of 315km, WLTC combined fuel consumption of 5.16L/100km, and zero-to-100km/h acceleration in 6.8 seconds.
