Li Auto is set to embark on a fresh phase of organizational restructuring, specifically targeting its product decision-making framework. This strategic move entails integrating pivotal functions from the Product Department—including the core teams responsible for defining electric propulsion and autonomous driving products—into the R&D department. The primary objective is to realign product definition efforts under the R&D division, thereby streamlining decision-making processes and boosting both efficiency and product quality. Post-restructuring, the number of departments involved in vehicle product decision-making will be consolidated from three to two: the Product Line and R&D. Notably, Li Auto has already undertaken several organizational adjustments since the start of the year.
