On the night of June 29, a significant number of NIO owners using iPhones encountered a major issue: the NIO App was repeatedly crashing. Additionally, the synchronization of the vehicle's Bluetooth key malfunctioned, which resulted in these owners being unable to unlock their cars. Consequently, many found themselves stranded outside their vehicles. This problem was predominantly observed among users of the iOS system, with the Android version of the app remaining unaffected. NIO's customer service team indicated that they had pinpointed the cause of the issue and had successfully resolved it. They are now in the process of gradually rolling out an updated version of the app.
