On June 25 (local time), news emerged that Stellantis NV and Nissan Motor Company, two renowned global automotive giants, are engaged in talks to purchase a segment of the assets belonging to automotive component supplier Magneti Marelli, in a bid to support its bankruptcy restructuring efforts. In detail, Stellantis has set its sights on acquiring Magneti Marelli's suspension operations across Italy, Poland, Brazil, and Mexico. Meanwhile, Nissan is contemplating the acquisition of Magneti Marelli's interior cockpit assets located in Japan. At present, negotiations on this matter are still in progress, and it remains uncertain whether the two sides will ultimately clinch a deal.
