On June 23, the Finnish Transport and Communications Agency (Traficom) announced that it is currently in the process of evaluating whether to grant approval for Tesla's Full Self-Driving (FSD) system to enter the Finnish market. As part of this assessment, the agency will actively participate in the EU-wide approval process, maintain open lines of dialogue with Tesla and other pertinent stakeholders, and thoroughly evaluate the safety aspects of the FSD system. Earlier, in April of this year, the supervised version of Tesla's FSD received approval in the Netherlands. The Finnish Transport and Communications Agency has taken into account the national approval scenario in the Netherlands and has engaged in consultations with both the manufacturer and the Dutch approval authority to gather comprehensive insights.
