On June 23, Shentong Technology made an announcement stating that the company, via its wholly-owned subsidiary, Shanghai Mingyi Automotive Parts Co., Ltd., intends to invest 700 million yuan in the development of an "Intelligent Manufacturing Project for Automotive Parts" within the Lingang New Area of Shanghai. This project encompasses a fixed asset investment of 520 million yuan and includes the acquisition of roughly 60 acres of land. Its primary objective is to broaden the scope of businesses such as automotive smart cockpits and intelligent entry systems, thereby establishing an industrial hub that seamlessly integrates research and development, manufacturing, and testing processes.
