A joint notice has been released by nine departments, among which is the Ministry of Commerce, aiming to foster a more conducive environment for the utilization and transit of recreational vehicles (RVs). These departments advocate for local authorities to refine policies concerning RVs on the road, streamline the approval procedures for land use in RV campgrounds, and bolster the ancillary services available at these sites. They also champion the development of top-tier RV campgrounds along scenic routes and in suburban locales, enhancing services like maintenance, utilities (water and electricity), healthcare, and catering. Additionally, they emphasize the importance of improving campground signage and showcasing superior tourism routes. In urban settings, whenever new parking lots are constructed or existing ones undergo renovation, dedicated RV parking bays should be incorporated, where feasible, to cater to the parking needs of RVs.
