Seres has witnessed a lackluster performance in its A+H shares, with its market capitalization on the Hong Kong Stock Exchange plummeting below the HK$100 billion threshold and its A shares experiencing a 3.21% decline. Despite this, the company's revenue and net profit in 2025 saw marginal upticks. Notably, R&D investment surged significantly during this period, and the gross profit margin for its new energy vehicles soared to 28.8%. In the first quarter of 2026, Seres reported a revenue increase; however, its non-GAAP net profit took a nosedive, and its net operating cash flow turned negative. As Huawei's inaugural automotive partner within the Harmony Intelligent Mobility Alliance, Seres has rolled out or opened pre-sales for several models under its AITO brand. Furthermore, Seres' equity-invested company, Saidou Technology (previously known as Landian Technology), unveiled a new brand, AIVA, and forged a partnership with Volcano Engine to craft an AI-driven automotive experience. Prior to this, Landian Technology had concluded a capital increase and share expansion, with Shaci Zhiyuan emerging as the largest shareholder and Seres stepping down to the second position. Additionally, Seres has joined forces with ByteDance in the realm of embodied AI.
