Changchun City has unveiled a draft of its automotive industry's '15th Five-Year Plan' for public review, detailing ambitious plans to cultivate a world-class automotive enterprise conglomerate. The plan emphasizes supporting the transformation and modernization of enterprises like China FAW, with a particular focus on the development of new energy and fuel-efficient vehicles, as well as the establishment of a robust brand system. In a bid to accelerate progress, Changchun City is set to deepen collaborations with industry leaders such as Leapmotor, Huawei, DJI, Baidu, and iFLYTEK in the realms of new energy vehicles and intelligent connected vehicles. This strategic move aims to drive the industrial application and continuous refinement of cutting-edge technologies, including all-solid-state batteries, the 'Hongqi No.1' chip, intelligent driving systems, and large-scale cockpit models. Simultaneously, joint innovation laboratories will be established to tackle advanced technologies, such as end-to-cloud integrated intelligent architectures, Level 3 and higher autonomous driving capabilities, and multimodal interaction systems. These initiatives collectively aim to position Changchun City as a premier innovation hub for intelligent connected vehicles.
