On June 10, a pertinent official from the China Association of Automobile Manufacturers (CAAM) stated that China is home to the most comprehensive industry chain for new energy vehicles (NEVs) globally. This chain encompasses every segment, from lithium ore processing and battery manufacturing to electric motors, control systems, and complete vehicle assembly. It is characterized by robust production capacity, reasonable costs, and remarkable supply chain resilience to risks.

CAAM Deputy Secretary-General Chen Shihua further emphasized that the in-vehicle systems, intelligent driving capabilities, and cockpit interaction features of China's NEVs are highly attuned to the needs of overseas users. Localized intelligent applications are evolving rapidly, effectively bridging the intelligence gap that traditional overseas automakers face, thereby creating significant competitive advantages.

According to statistics, from January to May this year, China's cumulative automobile exports surged to 4.059 million units, marking a year-on-year increase of 63%. Among these, NEV exports accounted for 1.833 million units, constituting over 45% of the total exports.
