Media reports have revealed that Seres is set to forge an in-depth partnership with Volcano Engine, a subsidiary of ByteDance, to introduce a fresh automobile brand. On June 1, a reporter obtained information from knowledgeable sources indicating that the inaugural model under Saidoo Technology is slated for launch within the current year. This model is anticipated to be a crossover vehicle, bridging the gap between an SUV and a sedan, and will be available in both pure electric and extended-range power variants. According to reports, the vehicle is scheduled for production at Seres' Phoenix Factory, which is presently undergoing retooling. The informed sources further disclosed that Saidoo Technology's forthcoming models will collaborate closely with Volcano Engine to develop sophisticated large models tailored for in-car interaction. The two entities will engage in regular exchanges; however, they are not expected to incorporate Huawei's ADS (Advanced Driving System) into their intelligent driving solutions.
