On May 28, during its Intelligent Strategy Launch Event, BYD officially introduced the Xuanji A3, a self-developed 4nm intelligent driving chip. This marks a significant milestone as it represents China’s first-ever 4nm chip designed specifically for intelligent driving, offering support for L3 and L4 level autonomous driving capabilities. By equipping a single vehicle with three of these chips, an impressive computing power exceeding 2100TOPS can be achieved. Notably, when compared to industry counterparts at the same level, the Xuanji A3 reduces unit computing power consumption by 20% while doubling computing power utilization. Mass production of this cutting-edge chip has already commenced.
