The BYD Fangchengbao brand has officially rolled out the Bao 5 and Bao 8 Flash Charging versions. The Bao 5 is priced at 305,800 yuan, but is available at a limited-time promotional price of 299,800 yuan. Meanwhile, the Bao 8 is priced at 419,800 yuan, with a limited-time promotional price of 409,800 yuan. Both models are robustly designed new energy off-road vehicles. The Bao 5 now comes in a striking new "Chisha Red" color option, while the Bao 8 offers a stylish two-tone color scheme with a floating roof design. In terms of intelligent driving features, the Bao 5 is equipped with the "Divine Eye-B" assisted driving laser system, whereas the Bao 8 boasts Huawei's Qiankun Intelligent Driving system, which incorporates a front-and-rear dual-laser setup and introduces an "ultra-long-range infrared night vision system." These new vehicles leverage second-generation blade batteries, flash charging technology, and an 800V high-voltage flash charging platform, earning them the distinction of being "the world's first flash charging off-road vehicles." Regarding driving range, the Bao 5 offers a combined range of up to 1,310 kilometers, while the Bao 8 extends this to 1,380 kilometers. Furthermore, both models are pioneers in featuring the "Yunlian-P Ultra" suspension system, which supports 3-minute remote tire changes, three-wheel driving capability, four-wheel lift extraction for getting unstuck, full-scenario vehicle height adjustment, and a remarkable 9-ton lifting capacity.
