In Shenzhen, BYD and CAR Inc. inked a strategic cooperation pact for the "Flash Charging China" initiative, alongside a framework agreement to procure 100,000 vehicles. Leveraging the "Flash Charging China Strategy" as their cornerstone, the two entities will embark on a profound collaborative journey. This includes setting up BYD's flash charging stations at qualified CAR Inc. locations, with the shared goal of constructing a comprehensive charging service network. BYD has set an ambitious target to deploy 20,000 flash charging stations by the year's end. Meanwhile, CAR Inc. is gearing up to transition its fleet to new energy vehicles, commencing in 2025. Come April, it will roll out 3,000 BYD Qin PLUS DM-i models for short-term rental services. The official collaboration between the duo will kick off in May, with projections indicating an annual purchase of approximately 30,000 BYD vehicle variants.
