In response, Harmony Intelligent Connected Vehicle quickly issued a statement, explaining that the vehicle is indeed equipped with anti-pinch functionality. However, this feature was not activated during the incident because the force exerted did not meet the trigger threshold. They also underscored the presence of multiple safety measures, such as occupancy detection, voice confirmation prompts, and a physical emergency stop button.
